Crochet Unicorn- Pattern Review

Introducing............

He doesn't have a name yet.
A couple months ago, I was in a funk. I wanted to make something, but I didn't know what to make! I went to Pinterest for some inspiration, and I ended up finding the pattern for this adorable unicorn!

Isn't He the cutest thing ever??

I found the pattern for this little guy HERE. I made three changes to the pattern. First, in the pattern it says to use a 3.00mm hook. I used a 3.50 or E hook.

Secondly, in round 6 of the back legs I single crocheted in the back loop only. I did this to create a flatter look on the feet. In this picture, if you look at the back leg, you can see what I mean.

Thirdly, in the pattern, she crochets the mane and tail and sews it to the body. Instead, I used a crochet hook to attach individual strands of yarn to the body. This creates a hair-like texture and look.

Would I make this pattern again? In a heart-beat! This pattern was fairly easy, although probably not for the beginning crocheter. And it turned out so cute!! I would love to try different color combinations with this little guy!

Would I recommend this pattern? Oh yeah!

What do you think I should name him? I would love some ideas!!

Talk to y'all later!
